Founded DreamBackfield.com on his birthday – November 20, 2014. He is a 1992 graduate of the Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences and a 2001 graduate from the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh. A lifetime Pitt Alumni Association and PantherClub booster, Rob has been a Pitt football season ticket holder since his freshman year at Pitt in 1988. He holds 3 degrees from Pitt: BA, MBA and MS/MIS.

Rob and his wife Ann Marie live in Nashville, TN and have 2 kids, 2 dogs. Rob is also a musician and enjoys music along with his passion for Pitt.

DreamBackfield.com takes it name from Pitt’s famous “Dream Backfield” of the 1930s consisting of John Chickerneo, Dick Cassiano, Harold Stebbins, and Marshall Goldberg under Pitt’s greatest football coach, Jock Sutherland
