Redshirt Junior and backup QB Nate Peterman guided Pitt to the 24-7 victory over Akron on 12 for 17 passing, 148 yards and 1 touchdown toss.
Pitt’s 3rd string tailback Qadree Ollison ran 16 times for 207 yards and a score to lift Pitt past Youngstown State 45-37 in the season opener for both teams.
Pitt concluded Spring Drills with a few new starters penciled in and followed that up with an impact 4-star DE transfer and a new AD, who starts July 1st.
