Pitt Has Much To Prove In Final 3 Games

When you have the 65th ranked offense in college football, things aren’t going very well. A 5-4 record speaks for itself. After giving away games vs Georgia Tech and Louisville with turnovers and salvaging a win vs Syracuse, Pitt looks to finish a down year with 3 wins.
Pitt is 6-2 all-time vs Virginia in ACC conference play and 9-4 overall.
This includes a 2-1 record at Scott Stadium where the Panthers last played in 2019.
But none of that matters right now. The Pitt offense is struggling to score and must lean heavily on its running game to have a shot.
A lot is at stake since Pitt is trying to secure bowl eligibility with a 6th win on the season after a 5-4 start to the 2022 season.
